ZTE sub-brand Nubia has just added another smartphone in the M-series, touted as the ZTE Nubia M2 Play. The smartphone unveiled in China and company has not given details about the pricing and availability information of the smartphone yet. It’s similar to the Nubia M2 and Nubia M2 Lite smartphone; both were launched in the March, but it is slightly better than the Nubia M2 Lite.
The smartphone has features a full metal body design with curved glass screen. The phone comes with a 5.5 inch HD touchscreen display with the screen resolution of 720 × 1280 pixels at 267 ppi pixel density and 16M colors. The device also comes with the support for fingerprint sensor, which placed at the Home button of the phone. The phone runs on the latest generation Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and consist nubia UI 5.0 layer top of it.
Inside the phone, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa core processor and coupled with Adreno 505 graphic processor. The smartphone is equipped with 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded up to 128GB by using a MicroSD card.
Regarding the camera, the smartphone sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with Sony CMOS sensor, f/2.2 aperture, hybrid autofocus, and LED flash. On the front of the device, there is a 5 megapixel 84-degree wide-angle front facing camera with f/2.4 aperture for taking bright and clear selfies.
The smartphone boasts a non-removable 3,000mAh battery and for the connectivity, the smartphone comes with the support for Wi-Fi802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE and a micro USB 2.0 port for charging and data transferring. The phone will available in two color options, namely Black and Gold. The ZTE Nubia M2 Play will up for grab soon in China, and there is no word whether it will begin shipping in other markets or not.
