Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 may not be too far away, it is expected to launch very soon. The rumored Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 smartphone with codenames MET7/MEE7 has been spotted on the website of TENAA, the Chinese certification authority. The company has not officially announced it yet, but we already have known everything about the upcoming smartphone.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Features
The smartphone comes with a 5.99 inches Full HD capacitive touchscreen display that carries the support for 18:9 aspect ratios and featuring a 2.5D curved glass display. The phone runs on the seventh generation Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system out of the box based on MIUI 9.
The Redmi Note 5 is powered by an octa-core processor, but for now, there is no word on which processor does it support. The reports suggested that the smartphone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600-series chipset. The smartphone is equipped with 3GB / 4GB of RAM along with 32GB / 64GB of internal storage that can further be expanded with the help of MicroSD card up to 128GB.
Regarding the photography, the smartphone sports a 12 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash support. While on the front, you’ll find a 5 megapixel front facing shooter for taking selfies.
To power the smartphone, there is a massive and powerful 4000 mAh battery that will give you enough juice. The phone also comes with the support for fingerprint sensor for added security, which embedded at the back of the device.
